DCM/Doubleclick

In this article, we are going to go over the tagging for DCM.

1) DCM View tags and Click appends 

DCM is a very common platform that a lot of our clients use and is also very user-friendly when it comes to implementing tracking.

DCM - Click / URL Append

This is the click append that will be placed at the Advertisers level (1). Select the company's account and you will be brought to the page below. Place the URL append in the Landing page URL Suffix (2).

DCM - View Tags

Implementing the View tags for DCM is fairly straight forward and has very few deviations that are necessary to look for. The View tags will be implemented at the same level as the URL append. To create a new tag you have to scroll down the page to the Event tags and click the Advertiser tag button (1), After that click the "New Impression Event Tag" button (2) this will have a window pop up where you will put the tagging information in.

The above tags are what will be implemented in the Tag URL as seen below. make sure the Script is selected and, the XXX is to be replaced with your C3CID.

For Video run through DCM please use the image tag as seen below, it is implemented the same way just make sure Image is selected not Script. The XXX is to be replaced with your C3CID.
